An unforgettable sold out night last Friday at Rhythmix, in Alameda, CA. Together with Trio Garufa and Urubanda we created a unique combination between tango, milonga, chacarera and candombe – all rhythms from the Rio de la Plata’s rich musical tradition – blending joyously the old with the new. Lots of passion on stage and among the audience, contagious drumming, singing, dancing, applauding.

I want to thank Bean and all the Rrythmix staff for making this concert possible, to tango DJ Polo Talnir for his support, to super-tango teacher Andrea Fuchilieri, to Camilo Aldao on the sound engineering and to all my friends from Trio Garufa (Sascha Jacobsen, Adrian Jost and Guillermo García) and Urubanda (Edgardo Cambón, Walter Gonzalez and Kelly Ralston) for sharing their talent in such a generous way.
